Film Wrapped Wire

Film wrapped wire is an insulated conductor widely used in transformers, motors, and reactors that require high thermal resistance and mechanical durability.

Film wrapped wire is made of a copper or aluminum core covered with polyester, polyimide or PTFE film.

The film can be tightly applied to the conductor surface using hot melt, adhesive, or self-adhesive techniques to ensure insulation continuity and mechanical strength.

Available in two main shapes: round and flat. The round shape is used for conventional windings, while the flat shape is suitable for high-density windings or space-constrained applications.
