Product Introduction
Rectangular insulated aluminum stranded cable is a conductor cable made from multiple strands of high-purity aluminum wire, twisted into a rectangular cross-section and covered with an insulating layer. It is suitable for high-voltage electrical equipment 1100 kV and below, such as reactors, transformer windings, and busbar connections.

Material
99.7% or higher purity aluminum rod.
Joining Method
Each monofilament has a diameter of ≥ 0.5 mm and is twisted into ≥ 7 strands. The lay pitch is strictly controlled to ensure conductor tightness and electrical uniformity.
Shape
The overall cross-section is rectangular with rounded corners, facilitating tight winding and reducing electric field stress concentration.
Insulation Material
The outer layer is coated with high-temperature-resistant polyester film, polyimide film, or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), offering excellent pressure resistance, moisture resistance, and aging resistance, with a temperature index of up to 200°C.

The number of conductor strands, single-filament diameter, and total cross-sectional area can be customized.
Shape and Size
Rectangular width, thickness, and corner radius can be customized.
Color and Marking
Insulation color, printing, and anti-counterfeiting markings can be customized upon request.
Aluminum Bare Wire Process

Wire Drawing: High-purity aluminum rods are drawn through multiple tungsten carbide dies, gradually extending the conductor to a diameter of ≥ 0.5 mm (φ), enhancing the conductor's tensile strength.
Stranding: The conductor is twisted in multiple layers according to the designed number of strands (≥ 7), controlling the lay pitch and direction to ensure uniform internal stress and stable conductivity.
Extrusion: Stranded conductors are pressed into a rectangular cross-section using specialized dies.
Annealing: Recrystallization annealing at 360–400°C eliminates processing stresses and enhances flexibility and stability.


Insulation Coating: Polyester film, polyimide film, or XLPE is used for multi-layer wrapping or extrusion coating to form a dense, voltage-resistant insulation layer.
Testing and Inspection: Conductor resistivity, dimensional tolerance, insulation withstand voltage, surface integrity, and other aspects are individually tested to ensure compliance with standards.

Packing Reference
The wire is packaged on cylindrical wooden or plastic spools, covered with moisture-proof film, and secured in IPPC-standard wooden boxes or Euro pallets, suitable for long-term storage and export.
